Friday night found Colin Shipley in action at Attica Raceway Park (Attica, Ohio) to return to the driver’s seat of his Cure SMA No. 44s Late Model. With a third-place finish in his heat race lining him up on the pole for the $3,000-to-win A-Main, Colin challenged Steve Casebolt for the lead throughout the feature but was never able to pass the eventualy race-winner. On Saturday at Oakshade Raceway (Wauseon, Ohio), Shipley secured his spot into the A-Main with a heat race win but Mother Nature wiped out the finale.
